Having grown up on the Sunshine Coast, Samantha has real experience in the construction industry working for both a local building certifier and national builder before starting her career in law. After working at the Sunshine Coast Inns of Court Barrister’s Chambers and in the Electorate Office of Andrew Wallace MP, Federal Member for Fisher, Samantha joined Spire Law in 2017 and has been making moves in the legal industry since.

With extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a variety of construction contracts for subcontractors, principal contractors and developers on projects ranging from industrial sheds, townhouses, and multimillion-dollar mixed-use residential and retail developments, Samantha’s skillset is expansive but her focus to deliver more, execute higher and achieve greater is what truly sets her apart.

Having represented clients in contractual disputes, property law disputes, security of payment disputes, QBCC investigations and prosecutions involving directions to rectify, licencing issues and minimum financial requirements before QCAT, the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, it is Samantha’s thorough and commercial approach to litigation that enables her clients to make fully informed decisions, each and every time.
